Dr. Ophella Garmon-Brown (Moderator): I have chosen to talk to you today about stress. Anybody have a little stress in their lives? We are going to talk about the kinds of things that are happening actually in your body when you're under stress. Physically and psychologically, the body suddenly shifts its energy resources to fighting off the perceived threat. What is normal rest for you? If you get five hours, is that enough for you? Six hours? Statistics on sleep say that you need seven and a half. So you've got to get some sleep. And we are not getting the sleep because we are burning the candle on both ends. Stress is going to be something that's going to take us over.
Participant: How can you tell the difference between stress and menopause?
SUPER: Stress vs. Menopause
Moderator: Your doctor can do a blood test, an FSH and an LH, to be able to determine if you are going into menopause.
Participant: I attended last year and thought it would be a great opportunity, and then introduced my friend Vanessa to it.
Participant: Yes, and I heard a lot about it from Radhia, and I think I wanted to come and get some tips about how to be stress-free.
